9Round on Brookhurst and Ellis has been apart of the Fountain Valley community for 7 years and we are constantly looking for new ways to meet fellow fitness enthusiasts! We want to offer ANYONE a free kickboxing clinic this Sunday 2/27!
Kickboxing can be a bit intimidating for beginners but dont worry! You will move at your own pace with a trainer led 30-45min kickboxing circuit. We will spend 5-10 minutes going over basics before we let you move to the music and punch or kick your way to your fitness goals!
Kickboxing involves lots of rapid movement and can easily increase your heart rate to a similar pace as running. Kickboxing often uses interval training, where participants exercise at peak output for 30 seconds to a couple of minutes and then rest. This is called HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING and has been shown to be especially good for burning calories and increasing cardiovascular fitness!
This class is welcome to BEGINNERS as well as PROS. ANY FITNESS LEVEL WELCOME.
We guarantee we can make you sweat!
Workshop will consist of 9 three minute rounds with 1 minute active rest in between each round.
Workshop will include use of double ended bags, heavy bags, teardrop bags, speed bags
Workshop may also include body weight exercises, dumbbells, kettlebells, battle ropes, and pad work!
Located at 9Round FV 18595 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley CAWe recommend you bring a towel and plenty of water. We also recommend the use of hand wraps however it is not required. We will have hand wraps available for $10 if preferred.
