During downtown’s FREE festival, residents, artists, businesses, and organizations will transform parking spots into creative pop-up parklets to celebrate PARK(ing) Day.
Meet your neighbors. Bring the kids. Take the dog. And have some fun. You deserve it!
Participating is easy.

For parking information, check out Parkopedia or our map (below). You'll find nearly 40,000 parking spaces inside downtown's Central Business District. Parking is free and available on the weekends.
Kansas City celebrated its first PARK(ing) Day last year to highlight the need for more pedestrian-friendly urban spaces. PARK(ing) Day began in 2005 in San Francisco and grew into a global event held annually by hundreds of cities who recognize that Streets are for People!
