My mission is to provide you with an amazing experience with lots of fun, while you help the homeless and at-risk individuals in Rhode Island. The mission of Mae Organization, Inc. is to operate on a Mind, Body, Spirit model which empowers and supports our homeless demographic through holistic modalities in the healing of mental illness and substance abuse.  Expressive Arts Programs in conjunction with clinical medicine have been proven extremely effective worldwide in hospitals and other healing centers  in the healing process of aids, cancers, alcohol and drug abuse cases. Mae Organization usesThese holistic healing therapeutic modalities as our platform to work supportively and compassionately with our homeless clients in finding their inner voiceless child.   We are currently raising funds to purchase a transportation vehicle and open our Wellness Center.  Our center will provide a place of respite and no judgment, a place where one can come in and be guided toward regaining their inner peace, strenght and sense of self back.    I believe we must first heal within emotionally so that we can function in our ever fast paced world and environments.  If our homeless population is not able to have more access to healing programs like ours, although housing and jobs may become available, without having healed or be at best “balanced” the chains of depression and anxiety will keep a person homeless thus unable to break the cycle.        ACTIVITIES Expressive ArtsMusic TherapyEquine TherapyPrayerMovementAgricultureJournalingCulinary SkillsFarm Animal CareYoga and MeditationHygieneSelf-CompassionSERVICES                                      Hot Meal and Bag Lunches ProgramClothing and Toiletries Program  Wellness Program    Grooming ProgramCase Management    Job and Skill TrainingCounselingTreatment GroupsCognitive Therapy       Facilitate Drug and Alcohol Treatment               Mentoring ProgramsOutreach Programs
