Description
A family friend met this dog in his neighborhood while walking his dog and contacted me to make a listing since he’s not too computer savvy. I was also introduced to the dog and spent time with him so I know what he’s like. The owners cannot manage the dog and also need to move so the dog needs to be rehomed. They were talking about putting the dog down because he has bit a mailman in the past and been aggressive towards strangers. I insisted I would look for a new home (I have 3 dogs one of whom is big and doesn’t get along with other dogs or I’d take him myself) and if I can’t find one will take him in myself somehow or pay someone until I can find a home so they don’t put him down. I initially thought they were going to be able to keep him until the end of March but I guess it’s the end of February so time is running low.
Milo is 3 years old, very loyal and a little overprotective so he needs an experienced owner. He could use some training in 'heeling' as he likes to 'lead'. He lives with a family with 7 kids but has issues with people he doesn't know, otherwise he is very affectionate once familiar with some body. There’s dogs gets along with and dogs he doesn’t, I’d assume larger male dogs there is more likely to be issues.
Small rehoming fee of 150 dollars to ensure he goes to somebody that wants a pet and not to resell. To the right person/family I can potentially waive the fee. Please only respond if you have the experience, time, finances, home, and love to keep this dog in a healthy environment.
