The following was submitted by the Sudbury Town Clerk as a press release SUDBURY, MA — Eligible voters registered in Sudbury may apply for an absentee ballot for the March 28 Annual Town Election. No excuse voting by mail has expired and has not been extended by the Legislature. Visit https://sudbury.ma.us/clerk/ for more information on the upcoming election and to print out an absentee voting application. Complete and sign the application and return to the Town Clerk's Office by March 22 via: Email: [email protected] Mail: Town Clerk, 322 Concord Rd, Sudbury, 01776Black Drop Box: Behind Town Hall inside of vestibule Polling Locations and Hours Your Precinct and or Polling location many have changed due to the Census. Your new precinct will be on the top of the annual town census, or you can check the State website at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/OVR/Welcome.aspx for your updated precinct information. A new precinct has been added: Precinct 6. Precinct 1A no longer exists. Precincts 1, 2, 3 and 5 vote at Fairbank Community Center, 40 Fairbank Road. Precincts 4 and 6 vote at the Lower Town Hall, 322 Concord Road. Polls will be open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Election Day. Registering to Vote March 8 is the deadline to register to vote in the Annual Town Election. If you have already registered, you do not need to register again. Registration forms may be dropped off in the Town Clerk's office, mailed or left in the black lock box inside the Town Clerk's vestibule. You can also register online. Absentee Ballot Applications The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is 5 p.m on March 22. Ballots may be returned to the town clerk's office by mail, in person or left in the drop box. If returning your ballot by mail, request your ballot early to leave sufficient time for mailing. Completed ballots must be received by the Town Clerk's office or the drop box by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Check the status of your ballot at track my ballot.
