Learn the art of needle felting while making some fun spring birds! Back by popular demand! After tickets sold like hot cakes for the first workshop, I've opened a second one! Get your tickets now:) This spring-themed workshop is the perfect introduction to needle felting, and even a great project for seasoned felters. We will cover the basics and make felted these adorable felted birds, just in time for spring! We'll cover the basics of needle felting including tools and materials, sculpting, attaching, smoothing, and more. All materials are provided. Masks required for all participants, regardless of vaccination status, unless eating or drinking. Enjoy hot drinks from our magical Keurig machine such as coffee (SOO many kinds), hot cocoa, cider, and tea. The Salty Owl Studio is on the second floor of an historic building in Downtown Kalamazoo. Please reach out if you need accommodations. *This workshop is designed for people ages 8 and up, and requires advanced fine motor skills and dexterity that may be a challenge for some younger kiddos. They will also be provided with finger guards to help prevent pokes. Despite these best practices, pokes do happen, even to seasoned felters!
