SSK - A Meetup for Makers in West Michigan Want to meet other DIYers? Want to hang out with local crafters, knitters, and crocheters? Join us at Creston Brewery in Grand Rapids for a knitting and crochet meetup. While you work on your project, chat with other makers and enjoy tasty food and drinks. We will also have a free progress keeper as a gift for those that register. → bring your favorite skein of yarn or a new pattern to get the group's opinion (or share yours with others) → bring your crochet hook or needles, show us what you have been working on, or try something new! → enjoy any of the great food or drink items from the restaurant → All are welcome – this is an inclusive and intentional space. Always looking for more beginner-friendly conversations. REGISTRATION Please register for this event on Eventbrite to help us plan for space and seating. Creston does not take reservations but is allowing us to call ahead.Participants are responsible for the cost of their food and drink purchasesWe will have a giveaway for attendees of progress keepers and stitch markers.This is a free event, but donations are welcome to help cover the cost of hosting future events. PARKING Creston Brewery is located in Plainfield Ave.There is a large parking lot near the corner of Quimby and Buffalo for businesses along Plainfield, as well as street parking.COVID GUIDELINES This event is being held in a public space. All attendees are encouraged to follow current CDC and local Health Department guidelines. Masks are encouraged when not eating or drinking.
