RACINE, WI — The death of a 21-year-veteran of the Racine Fire Department who was found not breathing on Sunday is being probed as a homicide, police said Monday. The identity of the 50-year-old man has not been released, neither has any information about a possible cause of death or potential suspects, The Journal Times reported. Police responded to a home on Pinehurst Avenue just before noon on Sunday "in reference to a male not breathing," according to a statement on Monday.
