I appreciate the response, but we aren't divided because the dems are commies that moved too far left. That simply isn't an accurate reflection of our shared reality. Here is what really happened: Reagan got rid of the fairness doctrine and Bill Clitnon allowed a handful of corporations to own and control our media. Now the corporate media divides us along partisan lines. This couldn't have been possible when the fairness doctrine forced media outlets to share multiple viewpoints. BTW, it is the repubs that have gone extreme. Reagan passed bills giving amnesty to illegals, raising taxes, and was pro life and anti gun as california governor. He'd be called a communist by people like you today. Meanwhile, compare Biden to FDR...Biden is a republican next to FDR...so I don't see how dems moved left AT ALL. IN fact, the opposite is true.
