HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Police Department is asking for help with identifying a man accused of stealing $1,000 worth of electrical cable from Home Depot in Hamden last Thursday.
Police responded to Home Depot at 1873 Dixwell Ave. around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 17 on the report of a shoplifting.
The man is accused of putting about $1,000 worth of electrical cable in a shopping cart and leaving the store without paying, according to police.
Police said the man left the area in a U-Haul box truck that was waiting in the parking lot and was being driven by a woman.
