Larceny And Road Rage On Bethel Police Blotter

BETHEL, CT — Bethel police took suspects from Danbury, Redding and Ohio into custody last week for separate incidents of road rage, car theft and shoplifting, according to their reports. Police responded to what they are describing as a "road rage" incident on Friday night around 11:00. Police reported that a motorist, James Alfano, of Poverty Hollow Road in Redding, was brandishing a firearm on Stony Hill Road in the area of 61 Taylor Road. He was charged with first degree threatening and second degree breach of peace, and scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on Mar. 1. On Sunday morning, at 6:22, Bethel police answered a complaint about a suspicious motor vehicle. First responders found Josuha Grant Boles, 32, of Ohio, at the wheel of a vehicle police say was stolen. Police charged Boles with second degree larceny, and held him on a $10,000 bond. At 5 p.m. the same day, the Bethel Police Department received a phone call from the police in Cumberland, Rhode Island, where there was an active warrant for Boles' arrest. On Friday, police say they foiled an attempted robbery at the Stony Hill Road Target. Bethe police officers were called to the scene of an active larceny, and later tracked down suspect Mohamed Camara, of Moss Avenue in Danbury, in possession of a duffle bag full of Target merchandise, according to their report. Camara was released on $500 cash bond and scheduled to appear before Danbury Superior on March 1.
