BEL AIR, MD — A chimney fire in Bel Air spread to another part of the home Sunday evening, according to officials. Four engines and a fire truck from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company responded to the blaze in the 400 block of Darby Lane, officials reported. Crews spent about an hour at the scene, where the flames had spread from the chimney to the attic, fire officials said. Courtesy of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company. Nobody was injured, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, which was helped by crews from Abingdon, Fallston and Joppa. The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported its crews returned from the fire around 6:45 p.m.
