NORTH SHORE, CA — A person was killed Monday by a train in the North Shore area of Riverside County. The crash near Highway 111 and Bay Drive was reported at 6:17 p.m., according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. The pedestrian died at the scene, the department reported. The gender and age of the person was not immediately available, and the person's name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
