Starting college band!!!

I'm a third year at cal poly looking to jam/start a band with some people. I play keyboards and guitar and want to get a group together that can play at house shows (I know a guy who throws big shows and will pay $$$). I'm thinking surf rock, psychedelic/jam band type stuff, hard/fuzz stuff, or just fun party music. I've been in a few bands and have played a lot of classic rock so I'm into that too.
