ALAMANCE COUNTY, NC — It's a birthday the Spear family of North Carolina will never forget. On "Twosday" Feb. 22, at 2:22 a.m., baby Judah Grace came into the world at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
She was even born in labor and delivery Room 2, and hospital officials tell Patch she weighed 122 ounces when she was born.
Her mother, Aberli, is a cancer survivor, according to hospital spokesperson Douglas Allred. Allred says Aberli survived Hodgkin's lymphoma for six years and has been in remission for two years.
The name "Judah" means thanksgiving or praise in Hebrew.
Father Hank and mother Aberli are enjoying their new baby at Alamance Regional, with all three being happy and healthy.
"Twosday," as some people are calling it, is the second day of the work week on February 22, 2022, or 2-22-22 for short.
