You are not the only one that let a keeper get away. Some years ago, I lived in Springfield and dated a lady that worked for the county health department. I was with the government and just out of the service feeling free. We dated for a while and she wanted our relationship to develop into marriage, but I was just not ready. Eventually I moved to a different area of the state and she later joined the service. I missed out on that one, as later in life I was ready to settle down, she was gone and taken. Fast forward 44 years and what would you know, she was on social media. It was so nice to see how well she had done, a family, home, and just a good life. I often wonder how that would have been if I had not had such a wild hair in my youth.
