Ez Water Damage Restoration Services is a family-owned and operated company dedicated to fire/water damage mitigation, mold remediation and restoration based out of Chula Vista but serving all of San Diego County. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing team as a Water Damage technician. Job Description: Effectively perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the company offers. Communicate effectively with customers. Perform basic equipment maintenance. Perform basic vehicle maintenance. Inspect completed work. Complete technician’s daily log. Complete Work Orders. Additional Duties and Responsibilities as requested. Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles. Maintain inventory of related supplies. Qualifications: IICRC certification for Water Restoration Technician (WRT) required IICRC certification for Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) an asset 3+ years industry experience in Water Damage mitigation Familiarity with chemical products including use, disposal, and Safety Data Sheets Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices. Ability to work within a team or independently as needed. Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Frequent lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted Access and mobility in tight spaces Working at Heights - over 5 feet, periodically Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling Must posses a valid drivers license and clean driving record Having a cell phone that can be reached at all times. Must have open availability: We may work overtime and/or on the weekends. On-call is a must. Must have basic English reading and writing skills. (Spanish speaking is a plus.)
