From the Inver Grove Heights Schools: February 22, 2020 Each year, Pine Bend Elementary School students have an opportunity to dive into new topics that fit their interests as part of SALT (Students and Adults Learning Together) Day. Community volunteers and staff host classes on subjects they are passionate about, from arts and crafts to karate, and students are able to choose three classes to attend on SALT Day. This year's classes included crafting bead art, cooking and baking new foods, a science experiment with catapults from a 3M employee, a lesson about different animals from the Dodge Nature Center, and much more.
