Quality Control Team Member – Manufacturing Facility Summary: Cowart is a fast-growing manufacturer in the Green-Recycling industry and we're adding a Quality Assurance Yard Maintenance Specialists to our Auburn, GA plant. Description: We’re looking for someone who likes digging in to work and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty. Equipment: Hand tools and light equipment. Compensation: Cowart offers Pay commensurate with experience and production including medical & dental plans, paid time off, and a 401K-retirement plan. This position is an hourly paid position plus overtime and production based bonuses when available. Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness of our manufacturing facility and work stations. Organization of our materials and equipment. Other duties around the yard including but not limited to ad-hoc tasks as requested by manager. Qualifications: - Minimum 18 years of age - Prior verifiable related experience - Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus - Experience working in a high paced environment - Forklift or other light machinery operation experience is a plus - Reliable track record with regular, predictable, full attendance - Safety and Team oriented with a willingness to work within requirements - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions - Ability to pass Drug Screen test, background investigation, including past employment, and criminal history screening is required. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Requirements: Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and climb. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception to comply with safety requirements throughout the yard and manufacturing plant. Work Hours: Full-Time Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm with overtime available. Work Locations: Auburn, GA
