We're looking for a dedicated maintenance professional to join our team today! The Maintenance Technician provides support, and is accountable for delivering our commitments to residents. You will be responsible for performing exterior and interior preventive maintenance and repairs within our communities. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and has experience in all trades, including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. This position will require travel between job sites in Casa Grande, so it's a great fit for someone who likes to be on the go! Weekly allowance for gas will be provided. Education and General Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2+ years experience in the Residential Maintenance field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electric, handyman, HVAC. Organized and punctual. Must be able to work efficiently under pressure. Must be able to multitask and work independently. Needs to be able to work strongly with a team. MUST know how to operate technology. Candidate needs reliable transportation and a working phone that has Internet access. Must have knowledge in the following areas: Basic Plumbing (faucets, toilets, garbage disposal, irrigation, etc.…). Carpentry (Painting, drywall, caulking). General Electrical. Some Appliance experience and experience. General handyman skills. What You Will Do: Conduct all community maintenance work, resident service requests, and preventative maintenance. Participate in inspections for move-ins and move-outs Respond to emergency requests as directed Conduct maintenance requests that consist of minor plumbing, carpentry, handyman, A/C, lighting, equipment, emergency, and electrical issues. Complete all assigned tasks and projects. Read park unit meters Report safety and security concerns to the Maintenance Coordinator and Customer Experience team. Monitors cleanliness of property grounds and landscaping. Receive and complete assigned work orders daily. Coordinates daily with the Maintenance Coordinator to ensure work order and repair completion. Assist the Maintenance Coordinator with assigning vendors.
