We are looking for a Landscaping Crew Leader to manage the daily landscaping operations for one crew. You must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. You must have industry related technical skills and knowledge related to the industry equipment and procedures. Leadership skills are essential in order to ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer issues are vital for the success of this role. Required: * Valid Driver's License with clean driving record. * 3-5 years of landscaping and light construction experience. * Authorized to work in the United States. * Dependable and self-motivated to work year round, sometimes in extreme temps. * Must have reliable transportation to get to the shop every workday. * Ability to meet deadlines with a willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform other physical requirements. Responsibilities * Follow production schedule to ensure accounts are serviced on a daily basis. * Manage daily production schedule to ensure the efficient use of company equipment, staff and resources. * Delegate work on a daily basis to ensure properties are serviced in an efficient manner. * Oversee work quality on a daily basis and ensure each property is given the utmost care and attention possible. * Train, mentor and support staff on a daily basis to ensure staff are competent, engaged and in line with company policies and goals. * Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. * Performs a variety of tasks involving manual labor in landscape or construction projects. * Maintains a clean jobsite: picks up tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. * Performs material handling and storage. * Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials. * Removes or installs trees, shrubs, palms, plants, sod and mulch and other types of work as agreed by sales agreement. * Learn the basics of construction work and gain the ability to work on small projects in new construction and repair. SKILLS * Proven experience Landscaping / Lawn Maintenance Supervisor * Strong technical knowledge of all industry related equipment and horticultural practices * Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations. * Excellent planning and leadership abilities * An eye for detail and quality * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Professional certifications (Horticultural) are preferred
