Balance Staffing is urgently hiring entry-level welders and seasoned TIG Welders! $500 dollar bonus at 45 days of employment, and $1000 bonus at conversion. Orbital Welding: Operates and maintains equipment and tooling relative to the operation of orbital welding Performs orbital welding of gas lines ranging from ¼” to ½” in diameter Ensure weldments are built to specification based on the blueprint Perform small adjustments to weldments utilizing hand tools Performs daily, routine, and preventative maintenance on cleanroom equipment Follows all safety rules and procedures TIG Welding Requirements: Demonstrate capability and aptitude to learn then teach various and appropriate welding techniques using GTAW (TIG). Must be able to use Argon gas and TIG Welding procedures to connect metal components Must know the proper weld settings for welding various materials along with filler rod selection Meet time and schedule standards for assigned tasks Keep equipment clean and maintain proper fluid Use TIG welder to assemble fabricated metal products in an efficient manner to maximize production Assemble, hold to tolerance and manufacture product that meets quality requirements, inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection Return all fixtures and tooling upon job completion Advise supervision of issues that arise Make routine decisions and use problem-solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance Assist the shop with general upkeep. Weld TIG in all positions: vertical, horizontal, flat, and using a turntable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Basic mechanical skills and a willingness to learn Knowledge of common hand tools and power tools; ability to identify common hardware and build to simple instructions Mechanically inclined with a fair level of dexterity to construct simple assemblies or parts Ability to read and interpret written information and blueprints Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment Strong attention to detail and quality-focused Basic computer skills
