I’m providing the public safety and health notice for your protection. LOCATION: Walmart Turner Rd, SE Salem Numerous large rats can be seen repeatedly in the front of store main parking lot, generally running between the vegetation islands. We have seen them many times in the past year after dark when headed to and from the entrance. Rats have been known to bite humans and pets. They carry and transmit many diseases and pests such as Ticks, lice, fleas, rabies, Lyme disease and others. We have notified store personnel many times and they are aware, however we haven’t noticed any attempts in taking the issue seriously. The Dollar Tree corporation has recently issued recalls and closed 400 Family Tree stores in the SE states due to rodent infestation at their warehouses. Kinda gives an idea to the serious nature of public health this can create. Shop at your own risk. X_____ previous Walmart shoppers.
