Alta Mira Recovery Center is currently looking to hire a part-time Maintenance Specialist at our beautiful facility in Sausalito, CA. The part-time Maintenance Specialist is primarily responsible for the maintenance, repairs of the building and grounds and maintenance management. *2nd shifts and Weekend availability needed* Alta Mira Recovery Center is a luxury residential rehabilitation center offering comfort, compassion, and world-class clinical care to individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Minimum Qualifications: · A high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a healthcare facility preferred. · Must have valid California driver’s license. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: · Paints and performs structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings, to maintain an attractive and safe building, inside and out, including ladder work. · Performs general cleaning and up keep of buildings, including buffing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and washing windows. · Inspects, repairs and services wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment or oversees the work of contractors. · Inspects, repairs and services plumbing systems and installations for conformance to governmental codes, sanitation standards, and construction specifications or oversees the work of contractors. · Performs preparatory work for maintenance activities, including gathering equipment, materials and supplies, loading and unloading materials, and laying out materials and equipment for projects · Performs clean up at the end of the day or when the job is completed, including picking up tools, spills, debris, cleaning work areas and performing touch-up as needed. · Ability to operate a vehicle for pickup and delivery duties. · Additional tasks as needed and directed. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
