We are searching for a detail-oriented individual with great communication skills for the Shipping & Receiving position. This position will ensure incoming and outgoing products and materials are properly received, recorded, stored, packaged and/or shipped in a safe, cost-efficient, accurate and timely manner. Training will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Must adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Receive, record and store incoming products and materials.
• Package, crate, palletize and document outgoing orders.
• Coordinate and schedule all shipments, freight and will-call orders.
• Prepare and provide necessary shipping documentation.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Effectively communicate via email with customers and vendors.
• 1-2 years Shipping experience, a plus.
• Knowledge in UPS, FedEx, LTL and BOL’s, a plus.
• Ability to drive a forklift, a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
