Description
Please do your research on owning exotic birds as pets. We have 2 Quakers needing to be rehomed. They are bonded and need to stay together. They are young and were born June of 2021. They can live up to 25 years.
Unfortunately our family has developed allergies and they are also very loud and will not allow us to work from home so we’ve made the difficult decision to try and rehome them.
They are tame and are friendly but they are used to us. Birds need time to adjust to new people and new places so don’t expect immediate friendliness. They can also be territorial of their cage. But once they come out and wake up they are fun to interact with.
The blue one is the most talkative and blows kisses. He can say step up, what are you doing, stop it, what’s up and other things. The yellow one is vocal but does not speak words. We suspect the blue is a boy and the yellow is a girl but we don’t know for sure. Their wings are clipped currently and we take them for nail trimmings as well. They love fruits and veggies and are on a pellet diet. They get seeds as the occasional treat.
Rehoming fee will include the birds, cages, toys, pellets, seeds, containers, and lining. They’ve been to the vet and are healthy. We can provide all vet check paperwork.
