Looking for the perfect home to place her in, and I will be very picky as to where she goes….. Selda is an extremely intelligent, sweet and beautiful dog that has been with us since she was a puppy, although she has a few quirks that make it a necessity to find her a home where she fits better. She is 6 years young, loves to go swimming, hiking through the woods on the farm, and loves to have a stick thrown for her. She is an AKC registered German Shepherd that will be rehomed to a pet only home, no breeding homes! She does fantastic with other medium to large dogs, adults and older children, however she has a high prey drive and pack mentality and can not be trusted around small dogs, poultry, or young children. She has never harmed a child, but she gets very worked up if they are excited and she can misinterpret the situation. She has killed small livestock on the property before, and has also killed a small dog. That being said, in the right environment with an owner that is aware of her quirks, she could be an outstanding addition to the family! I will not rehome her to a family with young children or small dogs, and I may require a home check. No rehoming fee, but I will ask that you set up an appointment for having her spayed at your vet as the rehoming fee. Please contact me for further information, or to schedule a time to meet her!
