Are you looking to improve your child's reading level or treat them to an online interactive class or story time? I am an experienced online Educator. I create virtual class rooms that your child will enjoy exploring and learning in. In each class your child will have a personal Avatar that they will use to navigate through multiple colorful class rooms. They can choose to study in a private or group class where they will be able to draw, type, move objects, read and respond to me as their Teacher. All classes are designed to improve reading, comprehension, self-confidence and a love for learning. I can host up to 4 children in each 30 minute virtual session along with up to 4 parent observers. Parents can observe class on the same computer as their child or log in from a different PC or laptop. A great way to have some virtual activity with you child who may be away for the summer or living in a different location. Ages: 6-10, exceptions for younger students can be made if they are joined by an older sibling or parent. Happy to also teach students outside of this age range if they are learning English as a second language or diagnosed with a learning disability. Rates: $14.00 for private class $12.00 per student for groups of two $10.00 per student for groups of three $ 8.00 per student for groups of four Please keep in mind that group sessions work best when students are close in age. Credentials: I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology and graduate studies in counseling. I have enjoyed working with children as a crisis counselor, program manager, educator, mentor and tutor. I've worked with public schools as well as government and non-profit agencies that help at-risk children and children with disabilities. I look forward to meeting you and your child!
