AseraCare Hospice Volunteers Needed If you're interested in making a difference in the lives of others, consider becoming a hospice volunteer for AseraCare. Hospice volunteers describe their work as gratifying, intellectually stimulating, and emotionally meaningful. AseraCare has volunteer opportunities available for: Companions, Office Assistance, Reflections/Life Review, Respite Visits, Veteran Volunteers, Pet Companions, Bereavement Volunteers, Vigil Volunteers, Companion Artists and Music. Special Skills Volunteers include: Pet Teams, hair stylists, clowns, magicians, photographers, videographers, massage therapists, Reiki, etc. AseraCare offers free training and flexible hours at a variety of convenient locations. Note: Training classes may be virtual, in-person, or a mix depending on the individual need.
