Wanted small dog or pup for elderly dad

Hello. I'm looking for a small dog under 10lbs. My dad is in his 80s and finally retired. Does traveling and would like a companion small enough to carry on plane and stay in hotels and go for walks.. He has been looking for a yorkie because they are 4-7 lbs. I've told him of mix options and other breeds. So he is open to that as well. He has run across so many scams so I'm helping... * It can be a mix or purebred of any small breed...Yorkie poodle Chihuahua or others? I'm not thinking of? Male or female. (Would prefer a female for easier potty training) but will consider either. Adult would be OK also, if it is potty trained. Fixed or not also is ok. He isn't looking to breed lol. Dog or pup can be shy, not good with kids, or needs to be only dog? REALLY REALLY...open to most anything. Size is his only main need. Thankyou for reading all this. Dog will really have a nice home.
