Summary This position is responsible for prepping and building new samples, receiving and shipping completed samples, quality checks when samples are completed, completion of projects on time while maintaining sample platform inventory. The role will also contribute up to the paint and other sample technician(s). This role supports other departments and United Wheels companies with technical and mechanical support both on and off site. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Reviews initially submitted spec and determines if there are any challenges in completing the project. Individual will collaborate with the project originator if there are any questions. • Strips samples for painting and reassembles after painting complete. Samples may need components changed out without stripping the entire sample for painting. Individual will need to have strong attention to detail and care for assembly to provide complete samples with all correct components and no damage to the paint or product. • Learn how to paint samples and components to allow for split coverage with the Paint Technician. Individual will be required to paint at least 35% of samples to work on improving skills and efficiency as well as retain the processes to ensure high quality of samples.
