Bass player and drummer looking to start a project. Somewhere between soul and rock. Influences between Motown/stax, Sharon Jones and dap kings and bands like RFTC, etc.. Not looking to do covers; but to come up with new songs. There are 5 or 6 skeletons of songs ready, just need folks to add the meat. Looking for folks that have previous band experience. (Ideally a background in punk but wanting to do something a little more danceable.) would prefer 35-45 age range but not necessary. Mail for demos to get us started.
