Solid core seeks the missing link(s). Help us build a brand new beast! We are seasoned, veteran players, bass, drums, guit/vox, f vox looking to round things out with a strong 2nd guitarist and/or keys. Looking for weekly commitment, 1 rehearsal or 1 gig (give or take). No grand illusions, no bloated ego's, looking to have some fun, shake some booties and make some folding $$. "Classic Rock" (read; Beatles, Stones, Allmans, Dead, the Band, Santana, Tedeschi/Trucks, Hiatt, NOT Journey, REO, or Big Hair Metal), Blues, Funk, "Americana", R&B, maybe even some reggae... We will cover, not looking to copycat. Choice of tunes and arrangement to suit the talent of the players, not to imitate the originals. Want to get out and gig, but not in a big rush. Taking the time for dynamics, harmonies, good lead work (ensemble and individual), all that good stuff. Vocals a plus, but not a requisite. Collaborative vibe, input encouraged and welcome. I write some, originals part of the mix, but we do want to gig, so... I've worked with double guitar formats for years and love a tight sound with a jam band soul. I listen for honkey-tonk piano and Hammond sounds from key's before all the samples and synth patches, but certainly not exclusively. Drop a line!
