Seeking compassionate and experienced dog caretaker for occasional overnight stays. We have a sweet old dog named Lati who recently lost all mobility basically from her neck down. She is still hanging in there and has kept her spunky spirit, and so we are trying to find someone who is a good fit to take care of her from time to time. We don't leave her alone for more than about 3 hours, and if we're gone overnight we will need someone to stay at our house with her. Mainly her care consists of keeping her clean by flipping her to new dog beds and changing her towels every couple of hours, helping her drink water, and feeding her small meals a few times a day. She also gets medication in the morning and at night. The most work comes from doing laundry and keeping her clean, since she has no control of her bowels. It's really important for us to find someone who has the time and compassion to hang out with her because it definitely helps keep her spirits up to not be alone.
