Job Runs: 4/01/2022 to 10/30/2022 Hours: 35 or more hours per week Pay Scale: $18.40 to $28/hr (based on merit and past experience with our company). Overtime possible at $27.60 to $42/hr. Work week is Sunday-Saturday. Work hours from: 8-4:30,7-3:30 and 5:30-2:00, shifts based on the time of the season, daylight, and need. 12 days on and two days off. Weekend work is 4 hours per day. Will require alternate work days & shifts. May not work all of shift. No education or training required. JOB OVERVIEW: Mow greens, tees, aprons, and approaches to greens rakes sand traps manually and with power rakes. Aerify greens; verticut tees and greens; spike greens; operate sod cutter; and mow rough with rotary and operates other equipment as directed. Maintain gasoline, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily; report equipment problems and failures to equipment manager immediately. Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the assistant superintendent or equipment manager; and return equipment to designated location at the maintenance facility. Utilize loaders to remove dirt, debris and other materials. Drive a dump truck to haul materials and refuse; operate portable pumps. Change pins and tee markers. Inform supervisors about any irregularity to the golf course. Must effectively interact with club members, community guests, residents, ski facility operations personnel, and Lodge guests and personnel. Qualifications • 3 Months Experience in the job or related • Ability to walk for up to 4 hours without major disruption • Ability to perform physical activities that include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. • Experience must include the safe mechanical operation of trucks and other motorized equipment and the operation of gasoline and diesel engines. • Experience must include the use of manual maintenance tools. • Must be willing to work in any type of weather conditions during the dates of employment. • Must have ability to follow oral and Must have possession of a valid driver's license or ability to attain driver’s license within 2 weeks of start date. Must not have a suspended, revoked, invalid or expired driver’s license. Must not have: • more than 3 driving violations in the past 3 years • one or more serious infractions in the past 3 years (DUI, DWI, hit and run, excessive speed, evading police) • reckless or careless driving in the past 3 years • 2 or more cited accidents in the last year • no misdemeanor or felony convictions. Will require pre-hire criminal background check. Resort mountain activity passes and discounts provided. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Wages will be paid every 2 weeks. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the work days in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). The cost to workers for transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be reimbursed by company check separate from payroll, if the worker completes 50% of the employment period. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Limited pre-secured housing may be available on a first come/first serve basis with rents paid directly to third-party landlord which will include transportation to and from the worksite. Once Limited housing is filled, employer will assist workers in finding housing with third-party landlords by providing a contact list. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $13.17 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. TO APPLY VISIT:
