Benefits! Learn a trade! Job Description Heath Specialty Precast is a manufacturer of architectural and other precast concrete products. We are a family owned and operated business. Specializing in decorative pieces, we take pride in producing high quality products and providing exceptional customer service. We are currently recruiting self motivated production laborers to join our team. General laborers operate a variety of equipment and perform all types of construction and task related work in the manufacturing and production process of concrete products. Full time (40hrs/wk) $16-$18/hr PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Must maintain a high degree of quality in performance and methods with regards to efficiency and safety. • Operation of light to medium equipment including fork lift and front end loader. • Operation of various hand operated tools related to construction work. • Keeping tools and equipment maintained and clean. • Cleans and lubricates forms to be used in the manufacturing production process. • Batching concrete mixes specific to mix design given. • Places concrete into forms. Often requiring shoveling. • Tears down and strips out product after the concrete has cured. • Must be able to follow safety practices and pay attention to detail. • Frequent lifting of 25 to 90 pounds and often lifting over 100 pounds is required. SAFETY EQUIPMENT USED TO PERFORM THE JOB: • Gloves (one pair per week provided) • Steel toe boots • Eye protection (one pair provided) • Ear protection • Pants full length • Dust particle mask (if mixing) EQUIPMENT USED TO PERFORM THE JOB: • Light concrete vibrator (hand and table) • Various hand tools • Magnesium float for finishing products • Fork lift • Front end loader • Various components of concrete forms WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Personable staff • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors • Seasonal temperatures of hot and cold are encountered • Work floor is both concrete and gravel; snow, ice or mud may be encountered Our employees are a valuable part of our business.
