The Chattahoochee Nature Center is looking for a positive, reliable, self-motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team. This person will report to the Operations Manager. This position is a full time, 40 hour a week, non-exempt position with excellent benefits, including Company paid time off, health insurance package, and 401(k) within 6 months. This position’s work week is Wednesday through Sunday, some evening work may be required to facilitate special events. This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma and basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Daily janitorial duties will be required. Weekend work is a must. Much of this work is outdoors and year-round (ability to adjust to seasonal conditions a MUST). The applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
