Growing moving company located in Morrisville, PA looking for qualified part-time movers and drivers. Moving experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right person. Salary starts at $16.50/hr for movers and $18.25/hr for crew leader/driver with most jobs tipping. Job Responsibilities: • Support our moving culture and values • Provide outstanding customer service • Strictly follow safety guidelines and provide a safe environment at all times • Pack and prepare a household or office furniture and load/ unload at client’s destination • Communicate effectively with clients and co-workers • Complete relevant paperwork and collect payment • Handle client’s belongings with care • Stand, walk, lift, bend for multiple hours a day, carrying furniture • Use proper tools and equipment to efficiently move client’s furniture. • Carry heavy furniture with assistance • The ability to work and move furniture with coworkers safely and efficiently Qualifications for Mover Position: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Moving experience • Able to assist driver while backing truck and completing daily safety assessments • Able to follow directions and accomplish daily tasks • Effective communication with clients and coworkers • Excellent team working skills • Ability to problem solve with minimum outside assistance • Physically able to handle daily tasks associated with moving • Friendly and polite • Proven ability to give and receive constructive feedback • Punctual, dependent, and reliable • Organize truck safely and efficiently with client’s belongings • Able to complete mover training • Reliable transportation • Drug free (able to pass drug screening) Qualifications for Crew lead/driver Position: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Moving experience • Possess an active license • NO history of DUI • Strong team management skills • Complete client paperwork and process payment • Communicate with the office efficiently • Delegate tasks and manage crew members • Check truck daily for safety hazards and concerns • Handle minor client issues • At least 5 years driving experience • At least 3 years without any traffic violations • At least 2 years driving a box truck • Demonstrates knowledge of driving a truck • Able to pass a physical and extensive driver training • Able to drive multiple hours a day • Follow all safety requirements provided through DOT when operating truck. • Demonstrates organizational and leadership skills resulting in efficient moves • Able to follow directions and accomplish daily tasks • Effective communication with clients and coworkers • Excellent team working skills • Ability to problem solve with minimum outside assistance • Physically able to handle daily tasks associated with moving • Friendly and polite attitude • Proven ability to give and receive constructive feedback • Punctual, dependent, and reliable • Reliable transportation All applicants will be required to pass a drug.
