Full-time High-end Housekeeper Needed

Private Principal seeks a self-motivated, polished, and highly adaptable Housekeeper to work a very flexible schedule in their Austin, TX home. Responsibilities include cleaning, organization, and maintenance of residence in addition to some household management tasks such as shopping, coordinating with other staff, and overseeing vendors. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who takes pride in their work, considers their profession more of a lifestyle than just a job, and is passionate about providing high-quality service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence on a full-time schedule • Ability to perform museum-quality deep cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, leather, antiques, silver, etc.) • Willingness to run routine errands such as grocery shopping and dry-cleaning pick-up/drop-off • Willingness to drive personal vehicle to various locations. • Laundry duties inclusive of wash/fold, ironing, organization, changing sheets and towels as needed, etc. • Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas • Anticipates and recognizes the needs of the house and owners with little guidance and oversight • Makes recommendations to improve and upgrade the level of detail, service, and operational sophistication. • Conduct frequent reviews of the surroundings to ensure quality issues are identified and reported or rectified. • Reports to Executive Housekeeper to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, and family preferences are always upheld • May be required to oversee pets on occasion • Additional Housekeeping duties as needed and requested Requirements: • Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal • Excellent references required from both current and previous employers • Minimum 3-5 + years related experience with a private formal family, where utmost confidentiality and discretion are required • High school diploma required • Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, ironing, and storage organization • Ability to maintain a positive, cooperative, and professional attitude • Keen attention to detail, honesty, adaptability, and dependability; outgoing and hands-on where no task is too big or too small • Require little supervision and work well independently but also enjoy and excel at being part of a team • Private estate/hotel/ hospitality/museum experience is preferred • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a PLUS • CPR Certification is a PLUS; willingness to become CPR certified (company provided) • Excellent knowledge of general office procedures; as well as intermediate knowledge of smartphone and computer skills • Excellent time management skills: ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects with available resources • Comfortable working around pets and children • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, turning, pushing, and pulling. Ability to move furniture and/or equipment as needed Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds • Valid US driver’s license with zero points • Legally able to work in the United States
