We are a sheetmetal fabrication shop that has been in business for 40 years. We are looking to hire a full-time shop helper to make square, spiral, and oval duct. We are looking for mature, eager employees willing to grow with the company for the long term. General Duties: • Fabricate duct and simple fittings, ie. elbows, transitions, offsets. • Communicate with the shop floor manager daily to keep up with shop schedules. • Follow of all safety/ OSHA standards in the shop and participate in monthly safety meetings. • Clean up daily as assigned by manager. • Must be able to lift 50+lbs consistently. • Utilizes tape measures, shears, saws, air hammer • Screw flanges on the end of spiral and oval ductwork • Help keep stock area clean and organized • Help leed wrap and get parts ready for shipment Preferred Experience, Skills and Requirements: • Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented ability to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. • Ambition, high energy, and customer service oriented • Must be able to communicate and take directions in English as part of our OSHA safety policy. • Minimum 40-hour work week (6:00a.m. – 2:30 p.m. - lunch break from 11:00-11:30) with some overtime on Saturdays. • Ability to pass background screen, drug screen, and clean MVR. • Must have access to reliable transportation to be able to get to work on time daily.
