Intern/Apprentice Woodworking / Shop Environment

Description

We are offering a paid apprenticeship for the right individuals. Its not all fun and glory —- much of it is shop cleanup/organization. Things any good shop should be proud of. Learning comes with time. There are projects that simply need sanding (and a LOT of it) and others that require detailed work. Some basic requirements: 1. You gotta have a brain and use common sense — shouldn’t have to list this one - - but reality is what it is. 2. Able to lift 50+ pounds 3. Willingness and ability to learn. Just because someone wants to learn doesnt mean they will have the ability to do so. I will never be able to dance or sing — its not in my skill sets — so we have to be honest with ourselves. 4. Ability to work independently as needed. 5. Maintain shop cleanliness 6. A desire to want to learn this field —- not just want the pay. As with all our positions — we have a 15/20 min technical to assess abilities and thought processes. We look forward to meeting energetic people willing to work hard, get dirty, and learn and grow with us. Thank You
