Grizzly Targets is seeking a full time welder for a fast paced fabrication shop. • Experience working in a fabrication shop • Candidates must be able to read a tape measure • Military or firearms experience is a plus Carbon steel hard wire, structural welding. The MIG welder will use specialized equipment to fabricate, fit, and weld. This position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and product drawings to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work, as well as a strong dedication to producing quality work. Qualifications: • 3+ years previous experience with GMAW • Able to weld in all methods and positions • Reads and interprets blueprints and product drawings • Must pass GMAW test • High mechanical aptitude, basic math and measurement skills. • Able to lift 25-75 pounds frequently • Utilizes a variety of hand tools, saws and cutting equipment. • Able to operate a forklift • Experience with fabrication shop equipment including press break, shear, iron-worker, hydraulic saw, power tools, grinders, plasma cutting, oxy acetylene, etc. • Knowledge of CAD and CNC machinery is a plus Responsibilities: • Operates and maintains tools and equipment • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications • Complete welding tasks assigned by the engineer • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance • Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for 8+ hour shifts • Must wear PPE • Must be able to work with others • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products Competitive, weekly pay with room for advancement.
