Job purpose To effectively work in conjunction with other production departments to turn out professionally finished products within a specified time frame Job description Assemble and or finish custom identification products (i.e. interior and exterior signage, name badges, awards, etc.) in accordance with customer’s expectations Core responsibilities • Assemble identification products utilizing appropriate adhesives or other material as order dictates & insure product meets quality standards • Examine product to verify conformance to order specification; notify supervisor of any irregularities • Package, scan and ship product according to customer direction without any cross-ships • Be able to explain and execute in detail the typical needs of the company’s established customers • Operate and maintain sand blasting machine • Follow established safety protocols at all times Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalency • Be able to work with small items with precision and finesse. • Be able to count accurately • Be able to work with an X-Acto knife, glue gun and other “artsy crafty” type of equipment • Must be able to explain and execute in detail the typical needs of the company’s established clients • Must be able to read a company order • Must be able to measure the product against a “proof” • Able to operate saws, drill, mechanical shears • Experience bending/manipulating metals and plastics • Must be able to apply aware resist and prepare award for sandblasting • Be able to sandblast an award • Must be able to send out a quality product to the customer with little to no supervision Working conditions • Able to perform duties in a fast paced environment with specific, often tight, deadlines • Able to work Monday thru Friday, 8 hour days • Able to work over-time and /or weekends if needed Physical requirements • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time • Lift moderately heavy material (5-50lbs) • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check
