Job purpose To produce quality products to meet customer specifications while meeting basic production standards. Job description Fabrication of quality photopolymer molds, pre-ink rubber stamp molds, X-Stamper products, photopolymer signs, resist for sand-blasted awards as well as cutting polymer, rubber and pre-ink molds. Core Responsibilities • Learn and apply techniques for the fabrication of stamp, signage and award products • Develop negative polymers • Operation of merigraph, adjusting height and thickness of polymers • Polymer cleansing to produce quality molds • Recognize the difference between buna rubber and regular rubber • Cut pre-ink gel mold • Program lasers and engravers; perform adjustment for X-Stamper thickness and height • Operate table saw and drill press with precision • Perform quality inspections on final fabricated product • Understand department workflow patterns and requirements with regard to material specs, finishing components, shipping preparation and tracking input in accordance with the standards to maintain smooth, efficient workflow • Ensure that personal workstation, work in process, equipment, materials and supplies are maintained in a safe, clean, functional economic order at all times Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalency • Must be able read, comprehend and execute company work orders • Must have experience executing MS Office programs, beginner level or higher • Knowledge and experience operating power saws and drills • Must be organized, detail oriented and quality conscious Working conditions • Able to perform duties in a fast paced environment with specific deadlines • Able to work Monday thru Friday, 8 hour days • Able to work over-time and /or weekends if needed • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction Physical requirements • Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time • Lift moderately heavy material (5-30lbs) • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check
