Job purpose To produce quality identification products to meet customer specifications while meeting basic production standards. Job description Assembling and finishing identification products in a skilled, accurate, safe and efficient manner while meeting production schedule, order requirements and specifications and quality standards Core Responsibilities • Work as a team member • Examine products or work to verify conformance to order specifications and quality standards • Master assembly and finishing techniques for badges, name plates and stamps • Understand order documentation, materials, supplies, & manufacturing processes • Understand department work flow patterns • Maintain safe, clean, functional work environment • Measure, weigh, or count products or materials • Read and accurately use ruler • Use hand tools and limited power tools • Attach or mark identification onto products or containers • Assembly of basic signs and blocks • Handles other duties assigned within the department or other production areas Qualifications • Must be organized, detail oriented and quality conscious • Must be able read, comprehend and execute company work orders Working conditions • Able to perform duties in a fast-paced environment with specific deadlines • Able to work Monday thru Friday, 8-hour days • Able to work over-time and /or weekends if needed Physical requirements • Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time • Lift moderately heavy material (5-30lbs) • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check
