Warehouse Worker/Welder

Description

The warehouse worker/Welder will weld for projects as needed at the warehouse. When not welding, this person will provide support to warehouse and job site locations, move materials within the Yard by forklift, receive deliveries. They will also assist with loading vehicles at beginning of shift, and cleanout of vehicles upon return to the warehouse. He/she will be required to maintain clean and safe work area, follow all safety rules and wear personal protective equipment as required. Perform other duties and/or tasks as instructed or assigned. Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. Qualifications • High school or equivalent (Preferred) • Driving: 3 years (Preferred) • Minimum 18 years old Experience: • Welding: 2 years (Preferred) • Grinding License/Certification: • Valid CA Driver's License (Required) • Welding Certificate from Technical School (Preferred) Requirements: Possesses good organizational and time management skills. Maintains a professional attitude and demeanor in all aspects of the job. Maintains a positive, professional relationship externally with vendors and internally with management and staff and is a "team" player. Performs tasks assigned in the most diligent, efficient, energetic, and timely manner. Follows Company protocols and is aware of required internal controls. Demonstrates a willingness to learn new ways to perform functions more effectively. Has strong analytical skills to understand issues while making timely, practical decisions. Possesses strong oral and written communications skills. Maintains a strong attention to detail. Is punctual on all aspects of the job Must be able to perform basic warehouse tasks Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed. *Ability to operate a forklift preferred - but not required *Ability to read blueprints a plus - but not required
