Press release from the City of Cuyahoga Falls: August 24, 2020 Due to continued changes in the recycling market, Simple Recycling has determined to discontinue service to the City of Cuyahoga Falls effective October 9, 2020. The City of Cuyahoga Falls had partnered with Simple Recycling for the collection and recycling of old, stained and tattered clothing, shoes and household goods. The city asks that textiles and appliances not be placed in recycling carts, as these materials are not accepted by the Recycling Center. Residents are strongly encouraged to donate acceptable items to local charities to help divert them from area landfills. This press release was produced by the City of Cuyahoga Falls.
