Job Description: Supervise 1 crew for monthly landscape maintenance for approximately 80 properties. Duties will include weeding, mulching, perennial maintenance, trimming shrubs, leaf and debris removal, lawn aerations, and snow removal. Requirements: Comprehensive knowledge of bed maintenance practices and standards Comprehensive knowledge of common plant varieties and horticultural best practices Good attendance and timely arrival Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adhere to high quality standard Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive truck and trailer Minimal hardscape projects required, but a working knowledge of that discipline is a big plus Working knowledge or irrigation and lighting, including simple repairs Possess or obtain a Missouri Commercial Applicator’s License within 90 days of hire Good communication skills Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Experience: 2-5 Years in the landscape maintenance industry 1-2 years as a crew leader preferred Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:30am to 5:00pm Fridays as necessary for missed days due to inclement weather Mandatory availability during snow events – possible overnight, long shifts, weekends or holidays
