Family located in Leadville, CO (80461) is seeking a full-time live-in nanny for their three and twenty-month-old girls. Parents tell PCN, " Our ideal nanny is someone who loves to read with the girls but also takes them out in all kinds of weather! Our family loves creative play, outdoor adventures, and cooking projects at home. We are also big readers. We ideally want someone that somewhat follows Montessori/RIE methods. Leadville has a long winter, so we want someone who will enjoy the weather." The girls are very active. The three-year-old goes to preschool during the day. She is very intelligent and loves elaborate pretend play and reading. The younger one is still learning how to talk at 20 months and is more physical - loves climbing things and cuddling. As a family, we do a lot outside - biking, skiing, sledding, going to the park, camping, etc. Both parents work from in their enclosed home offices and try to be as hands-off as possible during the workday. The family has one elder dog. The nanny would have their own private bedroom with a shared bathroom used by the girls. All rooms are on the same level. This house is relatively large and affords both privacy and gathering spaces. The family would like the nanny to potentially accompany them on vacations or weekend trips 1-2 times/year. A car can be provided for occasional errands and drop-offs. The family is seeking vaccinated nannies. Nanny's duties: Children's laundry, cooking for the children, dishes, transporting children. Start Date: June 2022 open to sooner if nanny is available Duration: 1 year or more. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional evening care due to work meetings.
