Registration is required for this event- Adoption and Guardianship families join us for a lovely summer day along the shores of Lake Michigan. The Port Washington Historical Society will take our group on a tour of the historic, "1860 Light House", in Port Washington! After the Light House tour our group will enjoy a picnic lunch in the beautiful, "Upper Lake Park". We have reserved a covered pavilion with picnic tables for our group to enjoy a group lunch. The park offers a large space for families to play and explore. Directly adjacent to the pavilion is the "Possibility Playground". This beautiful children's playground offers a play experience for children of all abilities. https://possibilityplayground.org Four tickets per family. Register soon as spots fill quickly. *Families please bring a packed lunch for your group. Bottled water and granola bars will be provided. REMINDERS Please do NOT attend an event if you or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath), or have been exposed to others who have experienced those symptoms within the last 14 days. Regarding COVID-19, please follow CDC guidelines, as well as specific county, city and location guidelines. Wisconsin Adoption & Permanency Support is funded by a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families to offer supportive services that cover a wide continuum of needs for Wisconsin's adoptive & guardianship families, adult adoptees and birth families. Our program is built on collaboration with individuals, professionals, organizations and community members throughout Wisconsin who are impacted by adoption & guardianship.
